"STANLEY", Ch. WeatherRun Amity Infusion OFA Good
1990 - 2000
Stan was one of those perfect gentleman -- a rare find -- one of those aristocrats that the books talk about -- Gentle but bold, loving but independent -- a companion and protector of his people and the grey girls and babes in his charge -- a country boy or city slicker -- couch potato, alarm clock and nemesis of all squirrels within 3 miles of home -- they dared not enter his domain. Above all, he was a friend who assumed nothing and gave everything. He is very much missed.
The show ring was not one of his favorite things to do, but -- do it he did. Used very selectively at stud, he produced offspring of extremely high quality and versatility. You can see 3 generations of this boy's descendents, "DOC", "ABBEY", "MERLIN", "SHADOW", Scully, and "JAZZ" elsewhere on this website. His influence lives on in these fine, healthy Weimaraners.
