Abbey was a wonderfully happy girl who loves to have a job. She is owned by Tom Lyon (WeatherRun), Leeanne Mitchell (Instar) and Judy Goldman. She finished her Canadian Championship in THREE shows with a GROUP 3rd, following in the footsteps of her sire, "DOC" Ch WeatherRun Arokat Spindrifter, CGC, who completed his in one weekend with a GROUP 2nd..Very lightly specialed over three months, she won the hearts of all who met her and earned several group placements. During a short visit to the US she won her class and RW during the Cherry Blossom Weekend.
She lived to hunt!!!!!
She was a great little mother as well. In 1999 she whelped a litter of 8 wonderful puppies sired by Ch Nani's Concert Master, SH, BROM. This litter proved wonderfully versatile with puppies provided the opportunity for SHOW, HUNTING, AGILITY, OBEDIENCE and of course that mightiest of all jobs, PROTECTOR of the SOFA.
One of Abbey's puppies "JAZZ", Ch WeatherRun Classicaljaz Kelco completed her Can CH in 3 shows from the 6-9 class and picked up a Sporting Group Breeder's Sweeps Group 3rd. Since then she has been out very sparingly and has a GROUP 4th, several BOB's and group cuts to her credit.
On January 29, 2001, Abbey whelped 7 puppies, 3 boys and 4 girls, sired by BIS, BISS, Am CH Nani's Smart Aleck, JH, NRD, V, BROM -- a very fine litter of healthy pups. From this litter a male and female were selected for show. The male is "PT", Can/Ven/Lib CH WeatherRun's Just Watch Me.
